That is a story that we see..... but the paid marketing services are pretty slow on it if not just avoiding it......probably because there are two government reporting agencies between the brazil soybean crop and us...............not to mention several grain marketing companies and a very powerful buyer..... all involved in the data creation/bias.
Risk......... Job risk,,,,, department risk.......... political risk...always frame the picture. It is too risky to report crop problems until the risks of being wrong can be assessed or the risk of having contradicting reports....
Or the risk of inconvenience....
Why would a government agency spend two years investigating ncaa recruiting........... very little risk it...... is obvious, most everyone knows it happens and many years overdue............... and why would they avoid a report of an irrational gunman threatening a school? The same reason....... its risky........ lots of false reports .... well one or two..... in that big pile of reports on irrational behavior of the guy over there.
