We are having our first big snow storm of the Winter. Had .20" of rain then turned to a wet snow all night, now windy, still snowing and blowing with lowering temps. Looks like we will get our Jan. monthly average total of 1" of precipitation out of this one storm. Great for cover crops, this season's crops and will tie down any blowing dirt. Looks like will get a foot of snow. Its good to see the moisture feed up into the Midwest again.
