The land i can plant some seeds and expect some production. With the gold, well it just sits there. It doesn't lay any eggs or pay you any interest. It's just a bad investment unless people bid up for it. It depends on inlation to offer you any yield and then you haveto sell it to realize that gain.
The farm? well it keeps on producing year after year whether its cash out value is $3k per acre r $12k per acre.
Godl is only worth what they will pay you for it. ASk Warren Buffet. He doesn't like owning gold.

Farmland is also only worth what someone will pay for it. It is easier and faster to convert gold to money for food than selling a farm. These good times won't last, can't
