SoyRoy Updates Seasonals
Those of us who follow seasonals will find Roy Smith's recent commentary very interesting.
He makes the point that in recent years some old trends have shifted a bit so that some selling decisions may need to be revisited. For example, historically it has not been profitable to hold soybeans over the winter but recent price charts show that it is at least worth while to consider it in your marketing plan.
I've always been a fan of Roy's market analysis and commentary, although in the last couple of years I've been not as comfortable witih seasonals as I used to be. Roy's most recent analysis makes me look at seasonals in a new, more comfortable light.
