Re: Storage issues this fall?
Why would beans "have" to go to Fairmont or Emmetsburg to solve the issue....the industry is running at reduced capacity as it is, so it is simply a matter of getting beans to the plants which offer the best basis/logistical opportunity for beans coming north...
2.250 million bean acres in Mississippi......so 85-100 myn bushels
must be some really big counties in Iowa/Illinois
just sayin'

Re: Storage issues this fall?
OK.....so I see you are up to three counties instead of two...
and those three counties grow 25+ myn beans......while Mississippi grows 85+ myn
now as far as corn....yep, no contest there

Re: Storage issues this fall?
It does give the production some context, though. It is all in perspective, I guess.

Might not be able to haul into Fairmont for 3 days this week and 3 days next week anyway.
Isn't receiving shut down for maintenance?

Re: Storage issues this fall?
don, i'm down to 1500 bu. that i had myself convinced i would get $17 for. about 5% of my last crop. Overall I didn't do badly, but we were gonna run out, right.. I shot off my mouth about soybean production to ray and had not checked my information. 9-15 might be good, because we have the "free price lower" beans hangin' out there. Our basis did improve to +1.55 today for old beans in woden. back over 12!! .

Re: Storage issues this fall?
Drum about lack of storage, and the big
Crops...funny didn't have much marketing
Advice other sell on rallys.
So much for diversified services advisory
service, and to think he is on several
radio stations....but if you are free.
I tried to "correct " him several times
But his superior attitude was I know nothing's
And he knows all.
