Swimming crops in Argentina
These pics really show just how waterlogged things are in Argentina, like we've been reporting and hearing about today. These are from a farmer I chatted with earlier today just west of Buenos Aires. Needless to say, he's happy to see the forecast drying up, though it's going to be quite a while until they can get back to much there.
Sort of reminds me of the pictures we all saw from North Dakota during the late winter and spring of '11 when they had all that snow-driven flooding in the Red River basin. Ouch.
