Re: TID BITS

Question here Hobby - So if I closed up shop here in Indiana and moved to Iowa - then would I be classified as a beginner farmer in Iowa ? It would be nice to farm where I didn't really have to farm - just go out in the spring and throw out 6 to 8 seeds and 10 to 12 come up and makes 240 bpa ! lol

Re: TID BITS

Minnesota has had a program similar for years, some of it close to me.  Only about ten percent of acres are farmed, so on 24000 acres one or two beginning farmers would want all availableSmiley Frustrated

Re: TID BITS

Wow I just looked up the farms they are renting.  Just the first one I looked at 147 acres in 45 fields. That should be a dream to farm. Oh plus it has narrow drives and creeks to cross. All at only $160 per acre.  Where does the signup live start?
