Re: Test pic

I think I did it!!

I am not a computerfan but i realise how much good things wich is to be done!!!

Well a pic of barley seeded in spring Sweden

We had warmest period late June mid Julty  wich is measured....

Yield

I would say at best 35 bu ac 2400 m t /ha        i count wheatweight even it is barley ...

This a red figurefarming...I promise

My own fallseeded barlley was also bad because of our toughest winter since 1987....but in the bin any way.

Is ther a bubblebit in wheat      in that case how much???

Perhaps I going to sell somwhat  tomorrow.....

Good luch with the days in your combines

Re: Test pic

Not much detail, but it appears to me to be barley that is very stressed. The head seems to be just out of the boot, and because of poor moisture and fill it doesn't entirely emerge and the head is not heavy enough to tip the neck and hang down as is the case with decent barley. This tips the awns up at an angle and it appears very bleached. Been there, done that.

Re: Test pic

4000 lbs/ac is normal for dryland barley [I accidently said wheat] in my local area. This would be for a 2 row feed type barley. Less for most malting varieties. We get about 25" of annual rainfall at 2500' elevation.
