....if one projects these numbers out for all of August (for theoretical purposes ONLY), we get about 560 units....or about 2/3 of average????

Yeah, it's not good. I was working on my evening weather, nothing major there other than the forecasts have dried a bit. No major systems in site giving the Midwest a drink. I needed to spend some time on a different post. You'll see it. Other than that, it's another night in the hospital.

The infection doesn't seem to be any better. Seems to have spread some since Monday. Not sure when I'm going to get released at this point. Boredom is setting in. Good thing I have posters like dairyfarm to keep me amused.

I look at that map and you know what I see...... the above average temps in Alaska. You see in 30 days that air over Alaska will be down here. That pocket of warm air will be displaced and move down here. Besides, I can only deal with today, today. Tomorrow is another day and I'll deal with tomorrow, tomorrow. Frettin about what MIGHT happen a month from now is pretty none productive.

Dairyfarm not, once again you're wrong on what your interpretation of the weather is. Yes, Alaska is often warn when we're cool, and visa-versa. But it has nothing to do with a time interval, nor a monthly cycle for sure. Stop grappling at straws - you keep getting the short one.

I feel sorry for dairyfarm it sounds like he is about to lose his milk cows if corn does not go back to the LDP days. Dairy person it probably would have been a better idea to go rent 400$ acre rent then milk cows the last 4 years.
