The direction of the price of corn?
I've been busy getting another bin up and other pressing work so I haven't paid enough attention to the price of corn & beans. I sold a bunch earlier to good advantage but it looks like the yield is pretty good so I think maybe I better be thinking about selling some more.
Historically, $5.50 is a pretty good price (except for the future price of fertilizer) and I'm a little afraid that when nearby contracts start to settle the traders might get the idea that it's a good time to renegotiate prices.
What are other people thinking?

The only known variable is that SA is off to a much better start than last year.
It is still early.
AUS also looking very good. Not a major player but big enough to matter at the margin.

Re: The direction of the price of corn?
The global cockup in the N market appears to trace back to the UK and EU primarily- where a NG crisis has slowed N production.
Nordstream 2 should be on line sometime this winter but I doubt it will cure the situation quickly.
