The grain markets are down today.........

Crude oil down hard and we have had a very good run from 8.44 to 9.096 in beans.

Fat and feeder cattle really got roughed up too.   With the grains, maybe they got their profits taken and positions squared up to where they needed to be before the end of the year.

Try not to take it to personally.  Commodities in general are getting beat up hard right now.  The stronger dollar hasn't been helping.  When looking at history it is pretty hard to expect much of a rally in grains when oil is in a freefall.  Hang in there.  I feel your pain.

Steve, It's not just you & me.   EVERY American grain farmer is feeling this pain.  Fortunately, every farmer that I know has upgraded equipment in the last few years and can now go a very long time withiout any major purchases.  The trickle down effect is about to take it's toll on much of agriculture..     The one bright spot in our country's economy is growing dimmer every day.

I just wonder if last weeks ( little Rally ) brought on some good farmer selling where they had pretty good yields ????
