Thinking about lifting hedges

Should I roll my deep in the money nov puts into an out of the money march put,  should I just pocket and wait for a short covering rally,  should I roll into a futures position.  My point of decision is this week and I am going to act.

Re: Thinking about lifting hedges

You know VR, there are so many of your previous posts I could put up here.  What, your not going believe your own posts?   How about beans going to $8.00 and corn going to $2.00?   My couple of pictures of the frost damage that you said didn't happen got you that scared, that your going to get out of your sure thing?    Face it - you're just another one of the hucksters on here trying to talk the market down for your own interest.  I think we pretty much all have your number.

Re: Thinking about lifting hedges

Hi Ben.   And thanks for your concern.  As with all head injuries, it takes some time to recover.  I still have bouts of dizzyness, though not as bad as it used to be.  Let's just say, I'm probably not a candidate as a "steel walker" and walking skyscraper beams.  I have most of my issues with dates and to a lesser extent with Time.  Most of my memory has returned, but there are still pieces that are missing, and the month prior to the accident I have really no recollection of.

I have to again thank Syngenta and the staff over at Stanton for giving me the opportunity to work for them.  Being forced to do algebra within Excell (necessary as part of my job with them) is what I really credit with my recovery.  I had a period of time before I took the job where I needed to be secluded from most everything - motion, voices, color.  Going to work at Syngenta and operating mainly at my desk on the computer is what got my brain working again, thanks again to Joe and Peter for the opportunity!

Head injuries are not to be taken lightly.  Don't assume that the victim is OK.  It could be a life or death situation, that you don't even realize.

By the way, say Hi! to Jessica and Kyle for me  😉

Re: Thinking about lifting hedges

No - it's about scamming others into your way of thinking, and then laughing about it when they get fleeced.  See, I've never taken joy in seeing someone else's pain or mistakes.  But that seems to be what our futures system is all about.  Fleecing who you can, as often and as much as you can, without getting burned yourself.  And then laughing about how much you made, with no consideration that this money in your account didn't just materilalize there, it came from someone else.

When I was controlling airplanes, I didn't just see the blip on the screen.  I saw the people inside the aircraft who had their lives in my hands as I guided them through my sector.  I'm not the uncaring and callous individual that it apparently takes to play the futures game.  I have other talents that allow me to make a good living, without destroying the lives of other to achieve it.
