I think your statements perfectly explains why the Chinese went after the AG market. They understand that a significant amount of his support came from rural areas and they decided they would hit him where it hurts. Even the Chinese probably did not think the people he is hurting most would still be supporting him and saying he is a great negotiator or it is the Dem's fault. Not many on wall street are getting hurt with tariffs.
