Re: UPDATE: Marketing Meet-up Is Set
jrsiajdranch,
I agree. I'm thinking we will get some more folks joining us, with the corn harvest speeding by and a lot of beans being cut too. This group will be offered timely market perspectives from U.S. market analyst Al Kluis and our international guests from Brazil. This will be high value information. Some of the information will be exclusive. There is still plenty of time for folks to sign-up.
To sign up for the Marketing Meet-up just email jeff.caldwell@meredith.com
Let's get a nice crowd there gang, huh?

"High Value"...now that is funny. lol
If we ever get a dry day in the ECB we will have to run beans and plant cover crops. I'd love to come and be a heckler though. Have a great time....always good to unwind and talk about big things.

Re: UPDATE: Marketing Meet-up Is Set
I`ll try and make it Mike, I have a friend that I`m sure will come along when he hears Al Kluis will be there. It`s nice that you folks will travel way from Chi- Town to my backyard. I promise to speak like I`m in church

Re: UPDATE: Marketing Meet-up Is Set
Al Kluis Cargill Pro's sale price for 55% of your soys is 14.11, for 60% of your corn its 6.34. I can factually say that tttp picked the corn high day 3 weeks in advance of that day and gave a very accurate price range of where it would occur. Ditto that on soys. So you can be enjoying 8+ corn sales and 17+ bean sales or the other. If thinking highly is = to performance then I believe in this case it is warranted.

Re: UPDATE: Marketing Meet-up Is Set
Jeff/Mike/John,
I'm going to do my best to make it. Won't quite be done harvesting by then, but, probably getting close & your meeting is close.
Thanks,
Mark

Re: UPDATE: Marketing Meet-up Is Set
time:thetippingpoint,
Hecklers are welcome. If mother nature is kind to you in the next seven days, jump in that big 'ol truck of yours, put some biodiesel in 'er and come on over. I agree, it is always good to unwind and talk about big things. We'll be trying our best to create that kind of atmosphere. Good luck with harvest and fieldwork.

Re: UPDATE: Marketing Meet-up Is Set
Mark, ncIA,
I'm thinking that if we can't lasso you to the meeting, we might have problems. I'm hoping we can grab the low hanging fruit, for sure. Maybe we can make you our 'local expert' for the meeting? We'll give you a sweet spot on the agenda.
Thanks for considering to attend.

Re: UPDATE: Marketing Meet-up Is Set
If anybody's on the fence about coming to the meetup, here's a little extra incentive: If you want, we can have a raffle among everybody there to see who gets to do this to Marketeye again...
