Updated field-level crop progress report
We just released our updated corn crop progress report. While the USDA publishes Crop Progress reports that estimate how the crop is progressing at the state level, we have created the first analysis that shows how crop progress varies within a state, and even from field to field within an individual county. Videos of crop progress are available for the entire Corn Belt as well as for individual states. The full report that shows estimates of crop maturity across the Corn Belt can be found here:
Hope this is helpful/insightful information and please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Re: Updated field-level crop progress report
Yep, definitely shows we are behind. But notice that the map only shows data through August 17th. There is a bit of a lag between when we get the data and when we can use it in the model so the map is showing where we think the crop was as of August 17th, not as of today (11 days later).
