Pretty much the same thing as last year, yeah.
Beans rallied due to drought in SA last year, made corn look like a joke. Beans rallied this year due a record crop in SA? Anyways, whatever you call it, beans are in a much better shape than last year. I remember sweating the thought of futures below 11; I almost had to make a tough call to sell all beans @ 11 or face trouble.. Luckily, they turned out to be worth 16-17 bucks later in the year in July.
Judging by how many of you would sell some corn @ 6 bucks, I figure I made a good choice by selling some @ 5.80 in the fall. But I am thinking thats the lowest price that I will sell this year. Lol!
13s not too bad for soys though.. but I think 14-15 is possible at the implied carryouts here. Thats my next target for beans here. Thats still alot of money here boys.
