You actually posted your screed on the day after SCOTUS heard oral arguments on Moore v. Harper which would-if fully embraced- permit gerrymandered state legislatures to decide elections despite the vote.

Anyway, as far as the view within the echo chamber of a blue state hellscape- you can believe what you need to- but most of America’s growth and economic dynamism comes from blue states- not the red ones that are just sucking up Federal welfare.

Meanwhile, another decent monthly jobs report today- not entirely welcome, but anyway. The last 18 FY’s under D Admins have now created 44M jobs while the 16 under Rs have produced 2M but accounted for more than half the deficit.

Ken, I know there's a small number of well heeled farmers who are agreeable to the message that agriculture really can coexist with a lot of the environmental goals. If nothing else it is good PR like, "hey, we're not all science denying troglodites!"

But make no mistake about it- Big Ag and Big Food are now locked in as part of the global fascist movement- even if it remains a junior partner to Big Oil- and won't give an inch without being beaten over the head with a big stick.

The majority are farmers remain fully naive to infection with any of the Real Victim narratives that the echo chamber pumps out 24/7.

The Hawaiian Observatory has been monitoring all activity since the Mauna Loa volcano began erupting on Nov. 27 for the first time in 38 years. 

In the latest update from the HVO, officials say the lava flow has advanced very little since Wednesday morning. The Big Island remains under a Volcano Warning. 

Meanwhile, the volcano continues to emit about 120,000 tonnes of sulfur dioxide per day. The elevated level of volcanic gas continues to rise high into the atmosphere and blow vog, also known as volcanic air pollution, downwind.

Maybe the greenies need to pay off Or better yet tax mother nature?

Volcanoes and other natural sources have been emitting pollutants both regularly and intermittently forever- sometimes with temporary climatic effects. That’s a part of the rough equilibrium the climate has settled into.

But humans release more than 100 mmt of sequestered carbon EVERY DAY. That much took about 100,000 days for nature  lock up.

I do get a kick out of old reactionaries’ climate denial shtick, though.

This always shuts down "climate hysterics" if only temporarily.  The Earth is over 4 billion years old, the climate has "changed" thousands of times, climate change is a fact.  12,000 years ago a big part of Iowa was under a 1 mile sheet of ice and it rapidly melted and I would say that was a good thing.  There were no cavemen driving pre-def, 1 ton dualies that caused that rapid melting.   

To permanently melt a 1 mile sleet of ice was an incredible event, so monumental that man today (not even Elon Musk) could duplicate it.  So, all the hysterics need to take 2 chill pills and study some science.   But, the head hysterics are in it for the money and power and control over the people, they are on a power trip.   The `tards who blindly vote the "big D" are just morons with big mouths and small brains.
