Watch stored corn quality

I shipped a couple of loads this morning that are all right, but you can tell it's not in what I'd call premium condition.  I think I'll empty this bin in the next week or so.  The other bin still looks good.  Just about the end of the trail for old crop corn sales.  Basis is strong.

I hadn't put any air to my corn this summer until just the other night...Smelled fine..but that doesn't mean some blue tip mold isn't lurking in there somewhere. Basis at Poet-Fostoria moved to .95 over today...and they give you free DP until Oct. 31...guess what I'll be doing next week???...LOL

...No, I meant I'll be hauling and probably selling the lion's share. I might keep a couple thousand just for kicks and giggles...but I can't turn down over 8 dollar corn..LOL
