Re: We are in trouble

Seems like a very mixed message--with the opening of several new stores to keep the investor interested== simply corp. america

Re: We are in trouble

Well if they only have to raise their prices 2.5% this year that isn`t too bad. That`s like the price of gas going up 8 cents, it can do that in one afternoon.

Re: We are in trouble

We know how much wholesale percentage of grain costs are in a box of cereal and how the grocer retailers and manufacture talk up the vudue  about ingredient costs ---a different story on the meat and dairy side---just ask the Dean Food people--

Re: We are in trouble

Has anyone seen this about there being less than 35% beef in Taco Bell`s taco meat, 65% filling.

Something tells me somehow resturants get by  Smiley Wink

Re: We are in trouble

That's not really news.

The fist thing Conagea does is add 40% filler to any meat that comes in the door.

So tacco bell added a little more.

Business as usual.

Just getting a little sunlight on it now.

And energy inflation is much more than food.

Re: We are in trouble

It's called inflation, there are alot of things not ag related that are going to go up too.   If someone sold corn 3 years out for $4, it might be trouble.
