Houston shipping channel has had a ship collision involving a ship with over 210,000 barrels of MTBE.

Ok where was this going? Who is still using this crap? This stuff can not be kept out of the food and water supply where ever is used.

Btw some of it was spilled/leaked in our inland waterway.

VERY carcinogenic.  One of the reasons we went to ethanol as an oxygenate.  Wouldn't want to be using water contaminated by that for ANYTHING.
