Wheat price?
Any one agree with me that figuring production cost ratio, you know fuel $3.40 plus,N cost of.70 cents per unit, wear and tear parts being combine overhalls, friction parts for tillage, tires, ins, and just about any other input you would want to examine.(New equip.replacment.) Current wheat pricing of $s high5s to low 6s depending on shipping, class, and port, that wheat prices are just as low as they were in the bulk of the eighties, ninties, and early years of two thousands at $3.40 to $4.00?

Re: Wheat price?
Just reading a report from yesterday that US soft wheat was the cheapest in the world FOB. PNW white wheat was as cheap as Aussie feed wheat - or cheaper - FOB. PNW is premium wheat.

Re: Wheat price?
totally agree,------------------------------a bumper crop of risk is the promise of this observation.
The rise in production costs match the rise in crop price and wheat has found a poor net return position.

Re: Wheat price?
Sure glad some one agrees, this is why I get reaal irratated when some one says maybe we will see a 3 or a 4 in front of the price because we are already there! Not sure about the corn but I am sure some feel the same when a 3 is talked about!
