Re: Wheat prices to double this year?

Well crap, I just ordered some extra milo seed right before I read this post.  Smiley Very Happy

Thanks for the info sneeky.  If the prices would double it would mean that if I raise a 1/2 crop my profits should be normal right?  Gonna need rain from this upcoming event or a 1/2 crop is out of the equation.

Maybe I'll start to search for an article talking about a price quadruple, you know just in case.  Smiley Wink

Ok.....wheat prices are going to double.   From what level?   $2.50 wheat would mean the price is $5.00.   Yeh, that sounds about right.   Smiley Wink

Hey RT, if wheat drops to $2.50, what'll that pull corn down too?  Careful what you wish for, I haven't seen a cow yet that wouldn't eat wheat.

Shaggy,  Not predicting or hoping for $2.50.......Far from that.   I just find it odd that someone would predict a doubling in price without a starting point.

Understood RT, not trying to spur an argument just defending us wheat producers.

Well shaggy, the 7 day precipitation map
shows you with 3.5 inches of rain.
Wish I was smart enough to post it
Here.

The map I saw showed me in the 1.8" zone, but I like the way you think cheapo.
