Re: Where are the perma bulls?
I guess you might consider me a perma-bull. I believe nearby corn will be well supported around $6.00 for at least the next 6-8 months.
Did you have a point? Does the $1.50 correction make you feel good about something?
Those who have made small scale-up sales have done quite well this year.
(I suppose I am a steer... did have a vasectomy two years ago!)

Re: Where are the perma bulls?
No the dollar and a half correction did me no good. In fact I was hoping to have a surplus to sell at better prices. I got about 5K in old corn that was waiting for the magical $8. Just wondering if those bulls were starting to have some doubts.
Fundamentals don't seem to count for much when world finances tip the scale. So far not everyone is running to the exits but they might if panic sets in? Not a prediction but a possibility with unstable economies.
Vasectomy? Old age can take care of that so those older folks say.

A point (for me) is the perma bull never had any target set to sell (for the most part). Just crowing incessantly about how bullish things were and how high we're going. They were spot on correct thanks to a horrible year producton wise. Had we had a decent year things would be much lower in my opinion.
At some point, a perma should have sold the crap out of this market and I don't think many did. Perhaps that's what Krafty was thinking?

basis will simply move up as paper drops, so not near the cash sales affect painted by the supposed market failure specialists.
Ag is thee best part of the whole World econ, any negative correction on agri will not be large and is only short term temporary. MO.

We may have. Senility you know. That is why I keep repeating the same jokes.
