Re: Where's This Corn Market Going?
We all know which direction the corn market is going. Oh I know every report and every piece of propaganda written will tell us that the price will be flat or drop. But at the end of the day we all know the prices will rise. Yes its true everyone will sell into these meager rallies because of shortage of bin space, harvest bills etc. and as long as the flow of grain is constant the price won't rise much. More than likely once that flow starts to slow down the price will go up a bit then crash to get some panic selling. It's amazing this is still effective and some farmers haven't figured this trick out. Legal theft is what I'd like to call it. More than likely it will be word of a monster S.A. crop. At the end of the day after the markets stole what they could and the rest of the grain that's locked in the bins doesn't move, then and only then will the news stories paint a different picture. Prices will start to rise and depending on what number the farmer is holding out for before finally selling it will keep rising.
