Whith the House and Trump at war whats next?

Does any trade deal stand a chance?

USMCA has been stalled for how long? Does any one see a sign of forward movement?

Now we have a Japan deal.  Is it dead in the water?

We have two sides that are not going to give the other side a chance to accomplish anything.

Probably not.....

It's open bar now.  As long as there is so much money flowing to those who are in office and congress(or their families and friends) the country is not important.  The worse off we are the easier our votes are bought.  As long as the congress has an unlimited credit card we have no control.  Even an education of the voters can't overcome a good slice of pork.

It would seem to me that a politician would be better off being pragmatic and supporting a bill that`s good for the country that a "unpopular" president would sign.  Instead of going to the voters saying "yeah we wrecked the economy but we got that rascal out of office and that`s the main thing, right?".   But what do I know, I`m not a politician.

Biden is dropping in the polls.

Warren is surging in the polls.  Warren's game plan is apparently so communist-oriented that the Bankers are pooping in their pants.

SO GUESS who all the scuttlebutt is now saying is gonna be the DEMOCRAT NOMINEE in 2020?

H I L L A R Y  C L I N T O N !!!!

In 2016, all the Wall Street Wankers were donating to CLINTON, not Trump.  That's the same pay-to-play gal who wants to be president.  The same woman who had to close down most of her Foundation because all the "donations" dried up when she wasn't installed as POTUS and has whined for years about how losing the election was not her fault -- the same woman, it is said, who funded the Anti-Trump fake pee dossier.

Insane Liberal Puritans are about to do Articles of Impeachment on President Trump == talk about collusion on the part of Democrats.  Their goal is said to be keeping President Trump tied up fending off their collective evil intentions until the election, which tells me the Democrat Swamp's BIGGEST FEAR is that Trump will be reelected.

Can't imagine there would be any way for President Trump to get anything passed now.

But if Clinton is actually nominated and is installed,  you just may get to see your precious TPP passed after all.

...may God have mercy on all your agricultural game plans because Hillary Clinton sure won't.

I`ve heard the Wall Streeters are telling the Dems that "if it`s Warren, we ain`t supporting her and sitting out or going to Trump".    In the past, Dems say "we`re gonna stick it to the rich!!!"..but they never do, in the 50 Shades of Liberalism there`s always a "safe word" for the fat cats.  Warren and Bernie scare them, because the safe phrase is "keep going!".

In the liberal world, fat cats on Wall Street are the same as farmers in the "make `em pay" group.

Successful Farming reported that a couple of ships of Brazilian corn was imported into the US.

https://www.agriculture.com/markets/newswire/update-2-brazil-ships-corn-to-the-us-for-the-first-time...

snip:

NovaAgri SA, another local grain trader, said in a statement it also shipped some 60,000 tonnes of corn to U.S.-based meatpacker Smithfield Foods on Sept. 3 from Santos port.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay so Brazilian corn is being fed to Chinese hogs in the United States...and we get the manure, alrighty then.

US ag imports to China peaked in 2014, long before the "trade war" China was seeking a more nationalist route, not so dependent on a single supplier for quite some time now and most didn`t have a clue.

However, economics is economics, Brazil can dump corn in our backyard and probably make a few pennies doing it and we scream bloody murder about $3.50 corn???   lord knows I`ve felt the pinch, but we need a slash of cold water and full strength Folgers as to what`s going on and what we plan to do about it together.  Not one farm faction undermining what the other is trying to accomplish.

Re: Whith the House and Trump at war whats next?

So a select group farmers get bribed with MFP money (as essentially no other industry has btw) and then want to jump on the trumper band wagon accusing everyone else of being as crooked as they are while simultaneously claiming moral superiority. Does not seem logical to call others socialist when your existence depends on government programs funded mostly by taxes paid from the very people you claim to despise. Even your national debt will have to be covered by these folks. But logic has never been an essential element in row crop and livestock ag since the only objective seems to be to over produce and get mad when you don't get a "fair" price. Might be time to read some Adam Smith work on capitalism and how the losers get treated in a pure capitalist system. Hint: it is not a government back up program.
