Wow this weather.......

It's getting a head start this year.........major tornadoes in the last week.........sounds familiar to last year..........only about two or three weeks early...........lots of talk of guys getting antsy with highs next week near 70..........the rule of thumb is usually plant as early as you can as long as it's fit, but this year could get interesting..............still really trying to digest if this might be the year to plant across a wider window........could this be the year that later planting is better??????? I don't know.........just don't know.........but violent F4 tornadoes in late Feb and early March is crazy...........really is a true testament as to how weather will trump acres and trend line estimates any day.........

Re: Wow this weather.......

Wild here in Nebraska.  Last week's storm system (one big storm) left us with rain, that turned to snow, farther West by Broken Bow, they had so much hail, they had snowplows running to clear the roads, and farther West yet, they had a Tornado touch down near Stapleton.  East of us, they had quite a bit of strong winds and Thunderstorms.

We were right in the middle, the storm was winding down by the time it got to  us, had some thundersnow, but nothing severe, and the next morning, when things picked up again, the poor folks East of us got hammered.
