Grant that corn is the first reported harvests thus yields.

The corn harvested later this year is the junk. 

All kinds of problems with it.

West of the Mississippi River is pretty "marginal" this year.

This is a big country. Just because it was dry one place, it may be too wet another. I have never seen a perfect year. Easy planting, enough rain and good yields and dry harvest weather
