Re: You knows its bad

It`s the running of the bulls on US Farm Report.  Here`s a packed prevented planting meeting at Manly yesterday http://www.kimt.com/2013/05/31/prevented-planting-meeting/   They say that for replanting at this late date, you would be better better off keeping a 10,000ppa stand ...10,000/ppa stand!   Oh yeah in that room of handsome farmers, there was one ugly son of a buck Smiley Happy

Bad night again for that area

Tough night for a streak through that area, how does it look to you BA ? We missed that storm line last night in the Albert Lea area but was over by Rochester last night in it, nasty! Still too wet here, maybe mow some today just to have something to do.

Re: You knows its bad

Iowa is screwed for the whole year. Someone's gotta make a big change to prod prospects. Might just hold everything until fall without pricing if this keeps up 16.5" of rain in one month. Like c'mon, that's half of what I get all year, and probably all they get in Kansas.

I still got some bean work myself to do in Ontario... But it's turned wet and we know for at least the. Next 2 months we are under a cool season w rain here. Hopefully we don't see 2009 all over again 40-40-40 corn is no good

Re: You knows its bad

Are you from Manley BA?  There was a young banker here who moved back home to start farming around Manley.

Re: You knows its bad

I just drove from Central Kansas to Kansas city and everything east of Salina is under water.  I was told the KC Metro area received 5+ inces in a 24 hour time period.
