a little on the dry side

which may keep 'em from killing the futures, but don't expect them to get excited unless it looks like heat will lock in.

Best fit in my mind is '96- July and August were dry but Sep had some rains and was sunny and warm, frost held off a little past normal.

May be a long time before we really have a handle on this crop.

A guy who gets 40 on July planted beans, gets an insurance check and a Stormy payment may turn out OK.
