well i always thought they kept the live cattle behind meat counter at the grocery, did surgery to get whatever cut of meat customer wanted, then just sew 'em back up...... well, when i was much younger.

When I was much younger I asked the neighbor why he had a pig with only 3 legs. He said "a pig that smart you don't eat all at one time".  At the time I thought the leg would grow back and he could keep the smart ones!!

Years ago I offered to give my nephew a pig and he could take it home and feed it on their dairy farm. He was about 6 years old. His parents refused my generous offer so he didn't get the pig.

Sometime later we were together and he asked me how his pig was. I responded, "delicious".

I had long forgotten that exchange but he reminded me  at his wedding reception about 6 years ago.
