booted because of being a bear

reasons for being booted at NAT.  users agree not to post anything libelous, threatening, defamitory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic or abusive. suggestive of anillegal activity, in violation of copyright law,  or in other words violates US law. profanity as well as grawlix ($%&*) is strictly prohibited.  Of course they have the disclamer that they can remove anyone at anytime.

find any post of mine violating any of these clauses.  You wont find any since I was booted just for being a bear in a declining market. I have know about thise conduct clause for a long time and danced around it.  But particularly look at the other poster that are still there and the words they have said that violate this clause. Pay attention to those that called me not a farmer, called me a shill, called me a troll.  They are in direct violation of this clause and should be booted immediately.

Re: booted because of being a bear

Got that fence "whitewashed".  -----------

I doubt that your viewpoint was the issue, but I hope you feel better.  I actually like your entries ------ well at least the first two on a subject.

What corn price will trim acres?  And how many years after the fact will usda recognize a 15% reduction in acres?

Why do you enjoy your "pound of flesh" so much?  Because ...........

That is really the issue though ------ and what is there to cheer about ------ a $2 up market in corn drives costs up $1.97, and a $2 down market consolidates production even more.  It is the hog market of the early 90's in slow motion.  Producers are becoming former producers as fast as ever.

There are a whole lot more living off the market behind office glass than out in the field.  Why beat on the few dinosaurs left?

What keeps me off the bear side is the fact that we are not trading a crop,  we are trading the speculation of a crop.

We care more about the crop in washington than the actual crop in the field.  Grain has been so abundant that we take it for granted and could give a bears back side if anything gets grown.

In three months we will actually harvest the crop that has driven the market down for months ------- Which tells us a lot of it is already sold--------- has to be if the market is what is suposed to be.  But I always wonder how many of those sold contracts actually represent production or end users.  What end user would be buying months ahead when the polit bureau is guaranteeing cheaper prices?

I still think the KCBT bid for Hrw is a significant sign of the hijacking of the commodities markets---- Are they tied to agriculture in fact at all----------in recent years, especially since funds participation ----------- or are we in the last step to vertical integration/contract farming?------ and the cbot is the new federal lottery.

Take it elsewhere

If you aren't going to post about the markets or their drivers then take your whining elsewhere, maybe here.
http://community.agriculture.com/t5/Ag-Forum/bd-p/agforum
If belittling and ridicule is all that you provide then maybe those are the reasons you have been removed.
The moderators here are great and the site is very good but it only takes a few to ruin it.

Sounds Like Agtalk is allright

You can judge something a lot by what it attracts and by what it casts away. Never really spent anytime on Agtalk, but if they boot the weirdos that really are not farmers but more into their oppression, either for sex orientation, boorishness, lust, etc.....maybe they are running a pretty tight ship there.

Personally, I don't give a rip what someone does in the privacy of their bedroom, or their mind, but I do appreciate common decency and morals on any forum. Those that continually attack people of faith and moral fibre on any forum should find a new home, in my opinion, but the best course is to just let them self deport unless they clearly violate some objective rules.

The forum on this site is pretty much an anything goes place, and I can see why people with common sense try to avoid it and chat civilly here and elsewhere. If those that air their grievences in the forum can then go about their day and not beat up their dog, their wife, or rob a bank, maybe it serves a good public function. I really don't know.

Re: booted because of being a bear

Surely you've been kicked out of better places anyway.

but it is generally hazardous to your financial health to get carried away with the herd's consensus that the crop ins't there, the gubmint is lying etc.

As I posted back a few months ago, whether or not any of that is true or not if you base your analytical focus on it you're likely to be squealing like a hog getting castrated with a barbecue fork. (Surprised I didn't get jerked for that.)

But that is essentially the sound you heard when they booted you.

Of course things could still turn out OK for the bull crowd but the odds are small and diminishing weekly. Don't really feel sorry for

people who passed on good sales levels because they were wrapped up in some affinity/identity swindle.

Re: booted because of being a bear

Vr. Don't feel bad about agtalk. I buzz
By there, and frankly not impressed.

Yes, I've met Ken root, a couple times.
I wasn't impressed then. Talk about
Rubbing people the wrong way! !

They "produced" a show. If you did
not agree, you did not get on the air.
Another time he argued with a caller
And a guest.

And yes SEVERAL people called the local station and asked his show to be removed.

Vt you are welcomed warts and all. Difference
Of opinion is good.

But please kind of temper some of your
thoughts (and maybe I should to sometimes)

But some of us just didn't have the best of
Years this year, and thru our eyes, things
just don't look quite right.

So keep at it, they say there is one in every
crowd, and I am getting tired of being pointed
At and singled out. Time for someone else
To have fun!

Re: booted because of being a bear

I have read agtalk an this site for many years, the agtalk market talk has went down hill last couple years in my opinion,  first post here ever hope this site.   Many good posters either bullish or bearish have been given the boot.....  I just want to hear peoples opinions whether berarish or bullish.....
