cant make sense out of new site

John it may just be me but I find it exceedingly slow and cumbersume to go to a posting and then move to each reply in that posting. Before when you could just press next or skip to the ones you wanted to read it worked so much faster that you could make quick work of keeping up on the new postings. I have tried the linear setting and though I like it better it is still the same slow proccess for me moving from one posting and replys to the next.

Can someone explain how to view all messages in a thread at the same time?  Clicking on each individual message sucks.

Under "Board Options" on the main page click on "Linear Format"

Not smart enough to find board format on main page.  I am sure the new format has its positives. If this was the first time on the site for me I would run away.  Make it easier to view all replies please

We altered the way the Marketing forum works today so that by default you can just read all the replies at once. I think several folks in this thread will be pleased. We hope this is a better experience for you. Regardless, you are always welcome to contact us with feedback. We are listening!

AgricuAgriculture.com has always been a rather "hard load" for the average computer. 

Reason of course is the ads.

Plenty of viral adware tracking allowed in ads on the site, which of course track TO viruses if not cleaned off everytime one uses the site. 

Access this site once and You pick up 8 to 12 tracking cookies, access it more and you'll have 40 to 60 of em. 

The addition of twitter and facebook of late has further complicated the mechanics of the site ( even tougher for the average computer to load than before). 

Bottom line is if folks use twitter and facebook for their agri stuff, agriculture online IS then not needed in the loop. 

Perhaps the fancy moving ads are nice for some...but they're a total wreck for most of us. 

Just to complicated and to much computer clutter. SIMPLE is better.
