corn and soybean price streaks
Darrel Good and I have a new post on the history of corn price runs above and below average. Hope it provides some useful perspective on where we may be heading from here. Nothing earth shattering but I think you will find our stats on the length of different runs interesting.

Scott,
To summarize your last two sentences,
"However, history also shows that it is unusual for a long run of above average prices to be followed by a long run of below average prices. The more likely outcome is a series of positive and negative runs of varying but shorter lengths".
Higher prices are here to stay.
