fine by me
If C and S want to be bullish about the acre number when it appears to be not much better than a wash with stocks.
A reminder- several times in the last decade USDA has lit a spring rally with smaller than expected planting intentions only to find more acres later.
Near universal reaction was that those were all heinous crimes, but it depends on how you look at it- could also be seen as a gift horse.
Re: fine by me
It may not matter at all, but the outlook now if for a little later than normal spring planting here in EC Iowa. 1-2 weeks. It' snot only the temperature, there has been very little field work. A dab of tillage and a few bottle of NH3.
All my tile are running. Some 1/2", some 2", a couple even more and some under water in the creek. I'm assuming the soil moisture profile is full for now.
