Re: for all you super bulls, a five wave top

I think the reference to 'short crop' was in reference to the global situation.

I think that the N American crop could be considered 'short' in the context of the predictions of yield before harvest, as in 'short of expectations' that are creating some concerns for ending stocks.

I agree with you palouser...... I just don't think we can use the same marketing analysis like a short crop that we would of had in the past....... p-oed

Re: for all you super bulls, a five wave top

Luckily we have new sources of demand.

I will say that if we have a truly short corn crop in the corn belt this year that something is going to give. It appears that China does not want to import corn at this time. Ther past policies on maintaining inventories would indicate they would have by now, but my guess is they don't want to add fuel to the fire at the moment.  Perhaps this next season will provide more breathing room. I'm beginning to think that the worst scenario is a below par China crop combined with a truly short N American crop.

I am not calling at top here, so bulls don't get in my face.  Today marked the 45 degree ratio in corn with the rally to 6.66.  141, which is also close to a gann number, divided by 3.10 rally which equals .45.  It is real interesting that the market reacted though.

Yeah, I am with Pal...translate the Mumbo Jumbo into English

so we had a five wave top at $6.30....but it wasn't a top....now we went to $679.50 for July, and backed off.....hmmmm....

Just saying, if you were the priest predicting the eclipse, I think the natives might be stewing you in the pot .

I, for one, would expect a market to blow off a little steam on its way to $8 or so.

But what do I know?

Well I guess I will sit in the corner, crack open a can of Schell's and just pout.

Well, selling a bit here would help buy that Schells. Wouldn't hurt a bit. I'm guessing Schells might be something like 'Moose Drool' out of Missoula?
