frost

I now know forsure that the frost got the best of the crops. On the drive home, the beans that were green yesterday were turning black today. Yeild and quality is going to be affected. This is not a small area.

Re: frost

fbf2574789,

If it's not too much to ask, could you take a snapshot of those beans and post it here? It would provide for some clarity for folks that are wondering how hard of a freeze this event has been. We would sure appreciate it. Thanks.

Re: frost

dakota county Minnesota, frost got the late planted corn pretty good smells like silage as you drive down the road. Corn planted may 31 was 3/4 milk line. Our beans were yellow but they were .08 mat. most of the rest of the area were bright green yet.  We are in southeastern Minnesota 30 minutes south of the twin cities.

Re: frost

Thank you for the reality check, a picture says a thousand words. I would hope your pictures help dispel some analysts perceptions. However I am Quite sure it really  can't be a widespread event.
