Why was the flu during the early 1900's called the spanish flu.  It was because that is where it originated at.  This Wuhan flu is the same thing, place of origin.   SD, you really need to quick provoking people and you are the one that makes everything political.   Just because you say something does not make it true and I think that is only getting worse.   I imagine if you were sitting across from me at a table, you would most likely have little to say.  That might actually be a good thing.  LOL!

How about a little context here for VP Harris. The quote she used, and I would concur, is that if the scientists say take the vaccine she would , but if trump said to, she would not. This statement follows trump's suggestion to inject  disinfectant as a Covid prevention.

Come on guys get over it the condemning of a quote out of context then is followed by a reference to someone else out of context. (Or by a third party quote of a third party. ).

BTW, if there was ever a glaring example of why we need to be politically correct, it is the current matter where a con man loudmouth bully with the biggest pulpit started making anti-Asian slurs OK, and voila', disturbed folks at the bottom of the food chain started attacking innocent Asian looking individuals.

The scientific consensus is that the virus was not engineered. It could have escaped from a lab where it had been captured and/or manipulated by conventional means. There are plenty of examples of actual or near miss lab accidents. Most chilling is 2004 when some old vials were found at NIH in Bethesda and a low level employee walked them out of containment and across the street in a cardboard box to ask what they might be. They were smallpox, thought to have been destroyed.

Some of us old folks might still have some immunity to smallpox retained from long ago vaccinations. Nobody much under 60 does.

I`ll give you this much credit DDT, at least you had Trump`s quote verbatim.  "Disinfectant" isn`t sunshine or Ultra-violet light a disinfectant?   And "inject" here is one definition of inject "introduce (something) into a passage, cavity, or solid material under pressure".   So, to "inject" a "disinfectant" into a body, isn`t that just another way to say "Put a clear tube of ultra-violet light down someone`s nose or throat to kill the covid virus?   And actually scientists have been looking into just that.  Trump`s biggest flaw was a poor ability to articulate and then he got angry about it instead of better explaining.

A real fool with the aid of the media successful interpretation was Truuuuuump wants you allll to inject bleeeeeeach into yoooore vaaaaaaains!!!!!!!"  And that partly got the damned fool in the white house...so there you go.
