Re: how many superbulls

I believe that the traders are just now starting to take interest in pushing the grain markets.  Sure the markets have gone a bit higher, but they are waiting for the USDA to confirm what most farmers already know.  Since they seem to put so much stock in what the USDA reports, it's not a real problem until they say so.    I think the USDA will raise the acreage numbers.......why?   Because they can.

Re: how many superbulls

I think it only makes sense if your in an area that has been getting rain to take some risk off the table by selling. We're at profitable levels. I remember in 1983 we were harvesting 45-50 bu beans and the price was around 9 bucks. Dad sold 10000 bu and i was waiting for 12 I ended up getting 6 and he bought a farm. 1988 too, 4th of July come still hot and dry the was over

vrbuck, while Ray has called this basis drop well, he is human like the rest of us.  If you followed this advice, you would have been not as happy.
