Well I have visited with people, looked
Around and.read....we are in a drought,
Hasn't got better, warm temps, few
Chances rain. So moisture, little if
Any. Had a funeral, no moisture in
The top 6 feet.
Half the wheat winter killed. Will bet
The ins co will make you grow it out
Next several weeks no moisture in
Sight.

I wonder how the computer traders read this?

Do not have to grow the whole field out if after having an adjuster out and not getting a satisfactory result, leave a series of 10 foot grow out strips across the field(s). With no moisture what could you do anyway?

don't know your local el cheapo,  but there's a Lot of "burned" wheat in the S Central and SW.

it was dry underneath then cold and basically druy over the to ( just not Any cushion of h2o )

heck what's left will likely freeze out anyway ( b 3 in a row on that in what used to be Good wheat country ).

We have had the driest February in Oregon I can remember. And it rained very little in March so far. Most guys are done planting spring grain crops. Nearly 70 degrees again today. Only 16% of normal snowpack in the Sierra Nevadas south of us. Bad deal...
