Was thinking hard over the weekend, mostly about the validity of the Mr. Obvious Financial Outlook.
The 32 year downtrend in the dollar (and downtrend in interestrates, hence higher asset prices) has dominated my adult lifetime.
The downtrend is being tested.
FWIW, I wouldn't bother to try to make political commentary on this- neither the former POW nutjob or the financial terrorist with a $200 haircut would have changed this matter had they, rather than the Kenyan Socialist Muslim been prez.
Nor had their been a handoff to one of the members of the Bush/Clinton Organized Crime Families who are waiting in the wings.
It's a lot bigger than all them midgets combined.
