Giolucas, today is the first Husker game of football season. I have a neighbor who keeps stats on a clipboard, during every game, down to the likelyhood of corn prices going up or down, depening on if they win or lose. Now THAT is a dedicated farmer/marketer/husker fan!
Yet another hot day 98 today, supposed to be 99 tomorrow. Fields I thought I was done irrigating, I'm going over once again. Went to a field day, and they were giving pointers as to what to do depending on heat, and maturity. If corn was under $5, I'd be done, but at around $8, it will pay for the fuel, and my time, to cover at least the longer season corn one more time, from the gain in test weight.
If this were a normal year, it would rain, the night after I shut off, LOL.
