Re: pretty cool
I've done something like this three times in my life. It's probably not for the faint of heart. I used a disc twice and a chisel plow once.
However in all three cases that I was involved with, the neighbors seemed to think that a very dry and windy day was a good day to burn their trash. Also, all three neighbors left their fires unattended after they started them.
In one case, a neighbor who didn't start the fire, but had his 60+ bushel soybean field on fire, didn't want me driving into his standing beans.......so I moved over to another neighbors' wheat stubble to stop the fire there. I probably could've saved much of the soybean field if he would've let me in there with the disk. His soybean field was pretty much a total loss.
