Had this powerful storm go through here eight miles north and slid two miles east of me. Corn leaning a little here. Some of the same farmers lost their crop to the Derecho last year and now to hail this year. I did gauge 1.97" in the last two days so, the needle has moved to the right at a very important time, pollination. Crops actually look very good here. Yogi Berra sure had it right. The is a lot of weather left in this going season wether favorable or not. With this rain I feel a little more comfortable about dipping into the punch bowl " selling a little new crop corn" Its sure not as tasty as it was awhile back but not still profitable.
