Re: "Non-Event" +4.5 days
I live in Minnesota had zero damage I doubt that entire state and the entire upper Midwest had frost damage
You were absolutely sure there was no damage a few days ago.........at least now you are just doubting.

Re: "Non-Event" +4.5 days
"No beans frozen here in Minnesota" What don't you understand about the title. Buck will state it differently......."No beans in my area of minnesota where frozen" Buck never said beans north of willmar up to the iron range didn't get froze! You guys are so upset you didn't get the market reaction you wanted out of the "Great White Hope" that you are picking everything apart. If you just listen to buck instead of confronting buck you would be much better off.

Re: "Non-Event" +4.5 days
plenty frosted south of Willmar - well into IA and SW/ SE of Willmar were frosted, as well--not just to the north.
plenty in NE (as already noted) and into Kansas were frosted, too. SD, ND, extreme N IL - 8 states affected to some degree. The real question is what % of bean ac in ea state and to what severity - a lot of variance - good reason for market to take it's time discovering.
but, nonetheless - here it is - "ALL HALE BUCK"

Re: "Non-Event" +4.5 days
I used to keep a poster of the known universe on my office wall. I called it my "perspective keeper" because it served as a reminder of how small and insignificant the earth is. Having spent time in all of the lower 48 states I think I have some idea as to the size of this country. Among other places I have walked onion fields in Idaho, tobacco fields in Kentucky, cotton fields in Virginia and Arkansas as well as a hops field in Bavaria. There are alot of places I haven't been but don't tell me my idea of the corn belt is limited.
I wish more people would share pics of their crops, good or bad. I can see why some are reluctant to do so.

It looks to me like the god almight is a fickle cuss. Pointlessly dropping this hardship on men of the soil that did nothing but work hard and play by the rules. I never will understand why he chooses such punishment for people that till the soil and the customers for their product.
But then i have trouble understand tea baggers as well so it must be something wrong with me.

Re: "Non-Event" +4.5 days
Isc76cat,
I accept the challenge, and appreciate it. I passed up a great opportunity to show the lodged corn from our green snap event.
200 bu corn and 40 bu corn side by side.
We finally have cleaned up the 5 patches that were in that event and have moved on to some better. It does look like one of those good and bad years for yields. We are done with the wet corn so we will probably have to wait for drying
Our beans are turning so it won't be long
Will try to get a picture or two tomorrow.
