Re: ""rain event""
Looks like I may need to get a pair of hip waders for that massive 1/4 " forecasted for here.
Not funny for many as last year's drough hasn't relaxed it's grip here either.
These improving prices don't help if you are in crop insurance territory.

Re: ""rain event""
I would have gladly shared the "rain event" we had here last week. 8.6 inches from Tuesday morning thru Saturday night...Saturday night event did this most damage. 90 percent of it, went in to the rivers, which were already full!
Barge load out stop Monday... several elevators have shut down until the river drops enough to begin load again
river crested last night in some locations, but gonna be a slow fall...

Re: ""rain event""
It is the best of both worlds for shaking up the markets.......
Draw a line from dallas to Madison Wisc. ------ on the left side, especially south it is as bad winter similar to 2011... wheat is nearly gone now...
On the east or right side of that line there are rivers out of their banks and barge traffic stopped because of flooding....
That is hard on production on both sides.
Thats my opinion......... CNN has not confirmed it so elcheapo only believes what is happened in his yard..
