Re: remember people trying to say I was wrong the usda had a 53 week reporting year
I was also telling you that axports where lagging compaired to wasde expectations. All I heard was Sudermans "seasonal export pace theory". I told you it was bunk and exports dont work like that. Last years exports had no coalation to this years exports. The tally sheets are finally in and the expected exports converted to Metric tons was a robust 39,371.86. We ended up with a paltry export sheet of 37899.6 metric tons. We where lagging all year no matter what the so called expert said. Who knows what next year will bring. good luck, good night, and don't take any wooden nickels. And the export week wad 53 weeks.

read again before you type my friend. this is last year shipments and they end by august 30 2012. The Wasde was translated from milions of bushel to metric tons to size up with the fas. like I said figure it out before typing.

So, we ended up with 96% of expected exports and you are calling that paltry? Is that right?
I'm pretty sure you have been off by a far higher percentage on your crop size predictions earlier this year, but here you are touting yourself again. It is as if you lost a war, but declared victory because you won a couple of minor skirmishes.

Re: remember people trying to say I was wrong the usda had a 53 week reporting year
buck..........I dont have 53 or 52 fingers and toes..........maybe you do, but I dont........
as for the debate..........it musta went over your head.........its called yearly exports......yearly meaning 52 weeks..........I don't care that two days fell into another week because the fifth saturday of your sisters, brothers, nephew birthday was a leap year..........
and I think we need to remember that someone on here said CORN WAS TOO CHEAP AND EXPORTS KEPT PLOWING HIGHER AND HIGHER...................THEN BAM, ONE DAY THE LIGHT CAME ON AND EVERYBODY SAID, CORN IS TOO CHEAP WE ARE GOING TO RUN OUT............AND BAM THE PRICE OF CORN SHOT OFF LIKE A MISSLE................and exports slacked off a bit...............just a bit............
now IF I COULD ONLY REMEMBER WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT THE PRICE OF CORN...........SOMETHING ABOUT A $3 AND 170.............
edit: as for 2013.........the way I got it figured...........exports could go to 0 and we will still be tight............which is what should happen...........keep domestic demand in tact and let the exports float............

Buck who cares? The whole point for your statements was for making the case for lower prices. Well that didn,t happen because of the drought Exports would have been alot better without the drought/

USDA's report this morning should assure everyone that there is going to be plenty of corn and exports can return to normal.
