soul moisture anomaly map
Shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone but if there's an early US weather problem it is going to be from delayed planting, not drought.
Or, I suppose, a wheat freeze.

Re: soul moisture anomaly map
Soft Red Wheat has grown too much for this time of year, high in Dec. low 70's low in the 50's.The wheat advisors are worried if pattern changes to La Nina in three months they say it is probable to have a lot of damage if we have late frost or freeze in late March or after , they are expecting a switch to cool weather when it flip flops.
