When I ordered seed for the coming crop year last fall, I asked both of my seed dealers about drought resistant corn. They both weren't very optimistic that drought tolerant corn was going to be available for a while and said that what they get from their seed companies about a big difference in drought tolerant corn ability to yield very much better in very dry years was probably not going to happen....
