marketeye and tiger what happen to your $10 corn and $20 soybeans?Yields here in NIA were better than I thought and now Im sitting on this extra grain waiting to sell it for $10- $20.Will it take another drought like last year? It's **bleep** hard to sit here and watch these markets tank with all the corn on the ground in NIA with marketeye and tiger blowing there horn of 10-20.

Re: ????

not that it will make you feel any better BUT you arent the only one, I am sitting on 75% of production right now.  the calculater is my worst f'n enemy! $20 beans aint gonna happen , pretty sure $15 will buy all of mine.....if it gets back there.

Don't blame Marketeye

Patience,

I have been saying $20 beans for awhile now.  Don't put the blame on marketeye and Tiger.  $14 beans are a good buy, china where art though, bring your check book.   I have never had luck selling in the month of November in my short 10 year farming career.  Now if you want to sell your beans at $15 go ahead I'll wait for $16 and let you know how it works out..  I sold $7 beans the day before thanksgiving in 2003 by March they where $10.  I will never forget that lesson.  South America is a long ways away from a record crop.

You may have had better then anticipate yields but the bean carry out is STILL 140 million ( i think thats right)

Yeah its hard to sit here and watch the markets go down.  If your worreid about it, sell on up days.  cause I'm betting there are up days coming.

Test to follow the lesson.

Or maybe the test is the lesson.

when prices are at the top of the range ---- do not bet the farm they will go higher.

Re: ????

North ia if you have any crop left it is still higher then it was when you sold last spring. I think the price was around that five dollar range if I remember right. I bet you wish you had them sold bushels back.

Re: ????

A little obvious consolation..............

Having grain to sell and watching markets go down is a much better position than having no grain to sell and watching the market go up.........................or down.
