updated export inspections
Half way through the year and we are getting a better picture of how inspections are looking.
http://www.ams.usda.gov/mnreports/wa_gr101.txt
We are still behind pace to meet USDA projections. We need whole week averages into the 32,000 from start to finish to meet the wasde numbers. this week we almost got into the 31,000, so it is another lagging week. If you don't like the facts I am telling you my suggestion is to not look.

Re: updated export inspections
All you have shown is that we are behind last years pace. How do you figure that we are behind USDA projections? If you have the data or method than show it.

Re: updated export inspections
I have shown all that every week since last november. I have a busy schedule today and wanted to take a short cut. Do the math yourself please. 1700 wasde divided by 53 is 32075 per week needed for projections. we asre at week 30 so we are at a slower pace then needed. We still have time to catch up, but at this time we are lagging.

Don't bother listening to these people. You have done a tremendous service to the ag community with your exhaustive and dedicated work. You have made me more money this year then all the wannabes that only say "corn is going higher".

Re: updated export inspections
The guys who sold in August made the money. If one would have sold in the last week of August, they could have gotten nearly seven and a half bucks right out of the field. We may very well get there again, but figuring anything against storage and interest takes a lot away.

Re: updated export inspections
Thanks for reminding people that I sent emails out to my friends to sell at the august highs, two days before of course.
